Well...'tis now late into January. (Remembering summer on the playa, above) In December, I glued roll-up insulation to Frida's interior, and cut plywood for walls. Kept considering a woodstove, but got an electric heater that circulates oil through the radiator fins. Then, my relationship and housing situation changed, radically. Now...given that I have a dwelling in the form of a metal box on wheels, the housing part should not concern me greatly, except it is January. Temps this week veer between -5 and 27 degrees. Way to cold for the electric heater. Like a gypsy weenie, I am taking refuge in a friend's basement until it warms...then back into Frida until March, when I will fin
